Dr. Noland is a native Virginian, born in Roanoke Virginia. She obtained both her B.S. and M.D. degrees from the University of Virginia.
Following medical school she did an internal medicine year at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital System in New York City. Maggie completed a dermatology residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center with a special interest in inflammatory disease of the skin with correlation to the pathologic findings. She completed a dermatopathology fellowship at that institution under the direction of James W. Patterson and Mark Wick. She has works published in the dermatology literature with some focuses in dermatopathology.
She is an assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Virginia. Her combination of dermatology and pathology training allows her to better correlate the histopathologic findings with clinical descriptions provided by contributing dermatologists. She is board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and board certified in Dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Dermatology.
She is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Virginia.
